Due to the size of our homestead, our LaMancha breeding program is destined to remain small with a limit of four does maximum. When Gillispie’s J Camilla was born, long-legged and camel-tan, I absolutely fell in love with her. Her dam, Aspen-Hill’s JT Cindy Crawford 1*M VG86 (notable black beauty mark right above her lip), was always favorite of mine. When Val at Gillispie’s County Line Farm offered Camilla aka “Wednesday” to me as a beautifully freshened adult, I could not possibly say no. And that’s how it started. This breed is SO joyful and goofy! She makes me laugh daily and she is a true joy to milk.
